Peptidoteca publishes mechanism overviews of short peptides and citations to the published literature behind them, along with a glossary and a small set of browser-based calculators. It is a reference for people reading research. It sells nothing, ships nothing and holds no stock. By using the site you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, please stop using it.

Everything here describes what published research reports, usually in cell and animal models, and none of it is medical, clinical, dosing or treatment advice. The compounds covered are intended for in-vitro laboratory research at appropriately registered institutions and not for human or veterinary use. The full statement, which forms part of these terms, is in the disclaimer.

We work to keep identity data, sequences and citations accurate and verifiable, and our methodology explains how entries are built. The literature moves, and pages can fall behind it or carry a mistake, so nothing here is warranted to be complete or current. If you find an error, the corrections process is the fastest way to have it fixed and we would rather hear about it than not.

You may read, quote and cite this site freely, including in academic and professional work, provided you attribute Peptidoteca and link to the page you took the material from. The underlying papers belong to their own authors and publishers, and their terms govern them, not ours. What you may not do is republish substantial parts of the site as your own, scrape it wholesale to rebuild it elsewhere, or present our text as another publication. The Peptidoteca name, layout, editorial text and original illustrations remain ours.

Please do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or the systems behind it, and do not use it to do anything unlawful where you are. Automated access is fine when it is well behaved and identifies itself; it is not fine when it degrades the site for other readers.

The site links out to Readypep, a distributor of research-peptide reference material, and may receive referral consideration from outbound links. That relationship does not decide what the literature is reported to say or which research gets covered, which is the point of the editorial policy. We do not control third-party sites and we are not responsible for their content, products or practices.

The site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from reliance on anything published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

The legal status of research peptides differs by country and sometimes by region within a country. Confirming what applies where you are is your responsibility, not ours, and nothing on this site should be read as telling you that something is permitted in your jurisdiction.
