A pentadecapeptide is a peptide composed of exactly fifteen amino acid residues joined by peptide bonds. The prefix derives from the Greek for fifteen, and the term denotes chain length only, not function. In research the descriptor is most associated with BPC-157, a synthetic pentadecapeptide whose sequence corresponds to a fragment of a protein found in gastric juice.
